Contrast Ratio (according to the SMART spreadsheet)

After initial detector calibration run:

Green 498.90 : 1
Overall 500.62 : 1

With the filter and new settings:

Green 749.90 : 1 50.31% improvement
Overall 740.30 : 1 47.88% improvement

Gamma Tracking

With the filter and new settings, my projector is tracking 2.3 gamma.

Settings Using Service Menu

As mentioned in Step 8, I calibrated the filtered projector two ways: using the regular menu controls to make adjustments and using the service menu controls. Both resulted in almost the exact same measurements. However, the calibration using the regular menu controls resulted in a higher Green level (lower resistance measurements and could be seen on the Color Intensity graph). This would output a brighter picture with a higher Green contrast ratio. So I stuck with the regular menu adjustment settings (above).

Please note that the differences between the two calibrations were slight. So slight that if I were to do the calibrations again, the service menu adjustments might win out. In the end, I stuck with the regular menu adjustments because they will be easier to adjust in the future. For example, if I try a different filter.

For those interested, here are my settings for the service menu calibration. Looking at these settings, it's easy to see that with the filter in place, Green became the limiting color.
